Slow appliance death continues...

nlbarber...maybe. I re-opened the dishwasher this morning after starting it to add a laggard coffee cup. When I closed it, the noise changed and water started leaking out. Opening and re-closing yet again seems to have fixed it, but I got a scare. Of course, the soap dispenser quit some time ago, so the dishwasher is clearly Not Well.
One contractor called today to say he was putting his bid in the mail. Two of them haven't come back with their subs to look at the place again--guess I will call them tomorrow and try to get them scheduled. I'd had to keep the one guy waiting for weeks after giving me his bid while I get the others in.
