Ginger lilies, anyone?

Any Atlanta area folks want some ginger lilies? (Larger picture of the blossom) I was given 6 or so plants of this a couple of years ago, and now have a flowerbed full. Easy to grow, but find a place where they have room to spread. A confined bed, or along a wall with something lower in front of them, perhaps.

Does "room to spread" mean they'll take over? Maybe I should plant a bunch in our back yard and let them duel with the ivy and kudzu.

They took over in the little bed where I naively put them, crowding and shading out the lady's thumb weed that had been a problem there. Might be an interesting battle: "In this corner, Ginger Lily, the brash newcomer, and in this corner, cham-PEEN Kudzu. Gentleweeds, come out fighting!"

Those are beautiful! Would they work as a pot plant? I do very nicely with amaryllis in pots.
