Update

Somewhere early last week, I fell behind with list mail and newsgroups and LJ. The second successive week of travel was most of the reason why, with a good dose of stress at chairing last week's meeting leading to a lack of brain in the evening. Got home from Tucson last Friday, and the nesting activities began: cooked several things over the weekend, carved my Halloween pumpkin and helped with the nieces' and nephew's. Finally started catching up on email on Sunday, and on newsgroups Monday. Must work on the LJ friends backlog now...

Wow, great pumpkins! Hey, who says jack-o-lanterns have to be just for Halloween. I think I'll do one for THanksgiving.

I LOVE the apprehensive mice! They're all really great, though. Thanks!

Wonderful pumpkins!!!

I love the cat/mouse one, that's so neat!!! I assume you carve both sides then?

Cool!!

Very neat!

This is one of the low-skill crafty sorts of things that I really enjoy doing once in a while. I'd also love to do high-skill crafty sorts of things, but lack the perseverance to learn to do them.

Yeah, I know what you mean! I don't have the perserverance either! :-)

Way cool pumpkins! I, of course, am especially fond of the reaper [weg]. Have you ever heard Bill Roper's album, The Grim Roper? The pumpkin is similar to the cover art on that. I've got a copy you're welcome to listen to, if you'd like.
