LJ oddities, round 2

So, the entry that took so long to show up that I posted it 3 times last Tuesday (and 2 of them showed up on LJ) has now disappeared. I saw the 2 entries, I deleted one of them, I saw the single remaining copy the next day...but now it's gone. Both my main journal page and the calendar view say there's only one post for that day, "LJ oddities" (round 1). I'm baffled.

Because of the problems posting, I actually have a local copy of the missing post on my hard drive. Will try to post it again, backdated to Tuesday, and See What Happens (as Gregor would say).
