LJ oddities

I've just tried to post a book log entry three times--twice from iJournal, which I've been trying out, and then from Xjournal when the iJournal posts never showed up. But the Xjournal version hasn't showed either, so perhaps it's LJ and not me. Am trying this from the LJ Web interface, as an experiment. Of course, tomorrow I'll probably find that all three book log attempts have finally shown up, and will have to delete two of them..

not three, but two copies have shown up on my friendslist at least.

When LJ is slow, as it has been the last couple days, stuff often doesn't show up immediately and the clients or even the web interface will indicate a posting failure.

It's the first time it's happened to me (the slow posting, that is). I didn't get errors from either client. Oh, well...have deleted one duplicate, we'll see if the other one appears later on.

For two nights running I've tried to update my journal two hours each time, & Nothing!
