Thu, 14:20: Off to Disneyland! Got in the Disney mood watching Good Dinosaur and Zootopia on cross-country flight.
Thu, 17:15: Flight was a bit early, collected luggage and Ubered to Disneyland Hotel. Krissi & Shannon landed earlier, went to Cast Store.
Thu, 17:29: Somewhat complicated checkin w 2 reservations, K and I will use different room key cards the last night but will stay in the same room.
Thu, 17:41: I finished checkin and was changing into shorts as K and S got to hotel. Dumped luggage at bell station, room not ready yet.
Thu, 17:44: Off to Downtown Disney, S arranged to meet some pin traders at Starbucks. First though was major shopping at Pin Traders for all of us.
Thu, 17:48: Got to Starbucks ahead of the locals, S asked me to go into DL to Little Green Men after a Limited Edition pin sold out everywhere else
Thu, 17:50: Everyone goes through metal detector now, must quit filling pockets with loose pins
Thu, 18:00: Got pins for S and walked back to Starbucks, K had an iced tea/lemonade for me. Pin trading commenced, mostly S with pins brought by request
Thu, 19:23: Back to hotel with pin bags and purchases, room still not ready so to Tangaroa Terrace counter service for lunch/dinner.
Thu, 19:25: Got text that room is now ready, finished eating and will go claim our suitcases, dump in room, the head to park.

Thu, 20:28: Brief stop in room to drop bags, headed out to DL. Must go to entrance plaza for S to get in as a cast member.
Thu, 20:29: Detour into World of Disney because spotted Cast Member with pin lanyard. Now shopping is happening.
Thu, 20:56: Made it into DL, but only halfway down Main St before buying more pins.
Thu, 21:30: No FastPasses still available for the high demand rides this late. Headed to Fantasyland, in line for Mr Toad.
Thu, 21:48: Toad accomplished. Peter Pan at 50 min wait, S says no and we'll come back on an early morning. In line for Snow White's Scary Adventure
Thu, 21:54: After Snow White, moved next door to Pinocchio.
Thu, 22:07: Stuck on Pinocchio, they had to turn the lights on. Wonder if we'll have to be evacuated?
Thu, 22:18: Yep, after sitting a while, a cast member unloaded us & walked us out, collecting people at each stopped car. First time on any Disney ride!
Thu, 22:21: First time S has been evacuated, too, but she's been on the cast side of it.
Thu, 22:23: Very short line at Storyland Canal Boats...because the ride shuts for firework safety zone. Off to "its a small world" instead.

Fri, 01:37: Wandered in Toontown briefly, decided not to ride anything, S needs to check out almost every store. :)
Fri, 01:40: Debated early parade, late parade, where to watch fireworks...and headed for exit as we all started to crash. Except for more shopping.
Fri, 01:42: Walked back to hotel for some unpacking, some unblocking of pin purchases and S passed over lots of pins she bought for K in Florida.
Fri, 09:29: Off for early hour for Disney California Adventure which start at 7 am.
Fri, 10:11: Line started to move at 7, at the Grand Californian gate we then had to show room keys for the early access, then do security.
Fri, 10:12: In line for the new Soarin at 7:10, but technical difficulties are delaying. Will go try Radiator Springs.
Fri, 10:49: Radiator Springs single rider line open, we went straight to the front and onto the ride.
Fri, 10:52: Single rider Line still nonexistent so we rode it again. Ended up in a pair of cars that raced, S won.
Fri, 11:34: First RSR run, my car didn't race--there wasn't another car beside us, or for about 3 cars we could see. Didn't know they did that.
Fri, 11:37: Into Paradise Pier area, straight walk on to Toy Story where K cracked 200,000 points. I was a fairly respectable (for me) 166,800.

Fri, 11:40: Backtracked to California Screaming roller coaster, also a walk on. First time I've tried it--height aspects could be handled.
Fri, 11:41: My headache declared it time for more coffee, and the stomach needed food before more rides. Left K and S to repeat coaster.
Fri, 11:44: Walked back to Flo's Cafe in Carsland, got the basic Disney breakfast platter. Not going to win any awards, but edible.
Fri, 11:48: I like the view of Radiator Springs Racers rock work while I eat.
