Sat, 12:15: Appetizers in lounge last night: mini egg rolls, Indian spiced chicken skewers, added to bread/crackers, hummus, snacks from afternoon.
Sat, 12:31: continuing last night activities notes: noshed some on appetizers but I decided I didn't want to make that my dinner.
Sat, 12:33: Decided to try Crews Cup lounge, but no tables open. Walked to Beaches & Cream, now converted to ADRs, no walk ups available.
Sat, 12:35: Paused outside B&C to discuss options, then hostess came over w pager saying counter spots would open soon. Yay for helpful cast members!
Sat, 12:36: Alas, the Rachel sandwich is off menu. I had tomato bisque & grilled cheese, K got chili.
Sat, 12:38: Counter great for watching ice cream construction, esp. Kitchen Sink super-sundae. A whole can of whipped cream is really ridiculous.
Sat, 12:41: Made rounds of BC and YC pin books, to lounge for sweets. Mini tortes, choc and lemon, plus std yogurt pretzels, Swedish fish, cookies.
Sat, 13:01: New rules today, or enforcing old rules according to CM: all rolling bags must be pushed. Folks w pull-able wagon are upset.

Sat, 13:02: Most people push bags through security check and past managers, then switch to pulling.
Sat, 13:04: Bags had to be opened for dog today: CM assures dog won't eat pins. What about lunch? CM says she gets turkey, dog gets ham, PB&J is safe :)
Sat, 13:09: Back to last night, after dessert went to room to sort pins and look at rest of trip plans. Rearranged lots of plans to not push ourselves.
Sat, 13:22: Will not do a park before Halloween party Tues, take resort break before evening w Frozen fireworks.
Sat, 13:38: And we're in! Got in 1 line. Quickly jumped to another that has double boards, will probably stay here most of day.
Sat, 14:22: K's board was poor, none of special board pins, no puzzle pieces she hoped for, but got an AP and an LE.
Sat, 14:24: First run: I got one board pin, but other must have been a trader. One of my board pins fr yesterday had defect, got it swapped out.
Sat, 16:07: Board refreshes happening on the half-hour, this line is taking an hour+ a bit. I was last on old board, then 2nd on new board next trip.
Sat, 16:09: 2nd trip I again pulled someone's trader, plus a Figment board pin. Third trip I played safe w 2 board pins, nothing else appealed.
Sat, 18:11: Announcement of pin set to lead up to next years event starts frenzy to get wristbands and in line to purchase the first one at store.

Sat, 18:13: Initial policy was had to be in line w wristband by 2:00, 30 min away. That changed to be in line by 5 w wristband to be guaranteed a pin.
Sat, 22:41: Pin event is over, said goodbye to lots of friends met in line. Thunderstorm mostly moved out so we walked to France for ice cream.
Sat, 22:43: Croque glacé--brioche bun, 1 scoop caramel fleur du sel ice cream, drizzle of choc sauce, pressed in a griddle. http://t.co/x6sQId31o8
Sun, 00:55: Stopped at Boulangerie for takeout then moseyed back to Beach Club. Ate our food in the lounge which was empty after Happy Hour.
Sun, 00:56: Laundry night. Resting my feet while waiting on the machines to finish, reading blogs and playing Candy Crush.
Sun, 11:11: Off to Animal Kingdom for early open, stopped in lounge for coffee for the road. Breakfast added cheese cubes to yesterday's spread.
Sun, 11:47: Waiting for AK open--they're letting us in at 7:45, looks like. Driving over here vs Disney bus is so much faster.
