• Thu, 18:14: In ATL headed to FCO--Rome Italy. By way of Miami. Glad we're not in the mass of people w flights cancelled by Midwest blizzard...
• Thu, 21:34: ATL flight late, rush to different terminal for flight to Rome. Hope the bags make it.
• Thu, 21:36: Seat assignments turned out to be 2/2/2, mostly in the 4 middle section. Definitely lives up to Airitalia's cattle car reputation.

Did they clap when they landed in Rome??
Maybe that's just a Sicily thing. We never could decide if they clapped because they:
1. Were happy to be in Italy again
2. Were just happy not to be flying anymore
3. Glad that they could finally get off the airplane.
