Inruder Alert! Intruder Alert!

Unidentified feline sighted on the patio! All hands to battle stations!

(I think it was a feline, though I guess it could have been a 'possum. I didn't emerge from the study in response to various thumps and bumps in the living room until the intruder had departed. Both cats are in full puffy-tail mode, though the growling has subsided. One casualty: one of the scheffleras was knocked over, stand and all. The patient has been treated and is expected to make a full recovery.)
