Another Moultrie weekend

I was in Moultrie this weekend, this time with just my two brothers--sister-in-law and kids from next door had to stay in Atlanta for various kid-things. We weren't quite as productive as last time, or maybe it's that the productivity was less visible in terms of house clearing. I did lots and lots of paperwork for stock transfers, and did some book sorting. Younger brother focussed on the darkroom equipment, which we are donating to the local arts center--they have a small photographic program and the high school also has used their equipment. We're also giving them a variety of books on art, culture, and photography that none of us want for possible additions to their library. Older brother completed the clothing inventory I'd started. And we had what I guess should be considered the first trustees' meeting for the trust Daddy's will set up for the benefit of his grandchildren, and made some decisions about which assets we'll use to fund it. Now, got to get the stocks transferred so the trust funding can happen by the March deadline, and get those clothes donated (and any other similar donations, like the darkroom stuff) ditto.

I'm still clomping around with the air cast on my right foot, and discovered it's a good bit more of an annoyance in a two-story house than in my all-on-one-level ranch. Almost 2 weeks down, 2 to go, and a check-in with the podiatrist this Wednesday to see if things are progressing as they should.
