Cross-species labelling

I made the trip to south Georgia and back yesterday to bring my father to Atlanta for a eye appointment. On the way north, we stopped at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Perry, Ga. Needing to use the facilities, I headed into the little hallway area, looked left and saw the door labeled 'Bulls', turned the other way and saw a door labeled....'Lambs'.

OK, someone complained that 'Cows' was unflattering, and probably the same for 'Heifers'. But surely someone could have pointed out that 'Lambs' are a different species, are juveniles only, and come in both sexes?

I wonder if all Longhorns use this scheme...must look next time I'm in the local one.

I'm not sure I've ever been to the restrooms at a Longhorn, but I can tell you one thing. I do not consider myself a lamb in any way, shape or form... does that mean I get to use the 'bullpen'?

That could be interesting...

I've always loved the story about the fellow who wanted to open a restaurant and label the restrooms "Clams" and "Oysters". (Spider Robinson, maybe?)

Or, do I mean, Baa, humbug?
