Sunday I go to Denver. Denver forecast: high of 40°F, low of 18.

Today in Atlanta it was 76. (Unseasonably warm--the average is 63.) Forecast for Sunday is a high of 78.

I expect the temperature shock will not be pleasant....

Probably not. But we (western Washington) went from 60 degrees last Sunday to snow on Thursday morning, without even going anywhere. Sigh.

My little reticulata irises were not happy.

Yeah, I keep waiting for all the jonquils trumpeting around hereabouts to get their little fanfares frozen. ;)
