Another day, another drive home in the fringes of a hurricane...

Jeanne has given us varying amounts of rain and a little wind all day--it got heavier in the late afternoon, around quitting time. All in all it was much less of both rain and wind than Ivan. Only 4 traffic lights out (all in a row beside the Doraville MARTA station), no downed trees, and thankfully no power outage at home. I ventured back out to my usual 7:15 Jazzercise class, and there were even a few other people there. :)

But we've had enough hurricanes now, thank you. The season can end any time. I'm sure central Florida folks will echo this by a factor of 10 or so.

I hope Jeanne is the last one you get hit by!! (or even brushed by!)

Those of us in the Florida Panhandle second that motion.

We're still in clean up mode from Ivan.

Yes, considering how much rain and thundering in general we got all summer. I want my season back!
