Mon, 08:34: Radio silence yesterday was due to a very busy day. Breakfast was leisurely, Captains Grille in Yacht Club side of resort.
Mon, 08:35: Captains Grille--neither of us had chocolate waffles, surprisingly. Personal electronics time was consumed by Pokemon Go, thus no tweets.
Mon, 08:39: After breakfast we loaded up all our pins in my car and drove to the B Resort in Disney Springs hotel cluster for PinCon World pin event.
Mon, 08:44: PinCon was organized by the group behind https://t.co/uP77cPpfPu, a group-sourced database of Disney pins. Other pin-trading groups helped.
Mon, 08:49: Basically PinCon was a large room of tables. Sections set off for sponsorship level, meaning registration fee amt. We were silver.
Mon, 08:54: PinCon 'sponsors' got a 4-ft table space to set out pins and trade. Other activities also: pin boards like the Disney event, raffles, games
Mon, 08:57: We spread out pins side by side, also near table for Debbie and Larry, the eBay sellers we met Sat. and had planned more trades with.
Mon, 09:00: Our friend Mark came in later and grabbed space on the table behind us. K had a big pin trade going w Mark who had set aside stuff for her
Mon, 09:02: PinCon then became like manning an exhibit at a busy convention--constant flow of people looking at our pins, showing theirs, negotiating.
Mon, 09:04: We both had wanted to wander the room and look for certain pins we want, but never found a break. Did do the trades w Mark, Debbie & Larry

Mon, 09:06: I found one pin I wanted at the guy on the end of our row, as I went by on the way to Debbie's spot. Also saw Shannon, who was in Gold area.
Mon, 09:07: We were still trading at 6 pm as they lowered the lights to get people to leave.
Mon, 09:35: I had snagged FastPasses for the 'hot' new ride (so to speak), Frozen Ever After, for 5:20--only time slot available. Didn't make it.
Mon, 09:37: PinCon over, we went back to Beach Club, planned to meet the other Debbie, who we'd met at last years event, also got together last Feb.
Mon, 09:38: Had skipped lunch completely, decided the easiest possible option for dinner was the club-level lounge while waiting for Debbie to get here
Mon, 09:41: Lounge offerings: cheese, olives, bread, hummus, pesto, crudités, conch fritters. Also goat cheese (ugh) triangles https://t.co/nHrDodV66X
Mon, 09:42: K met Debbie downstairs and brought her up to club level, we spread out over a table in the lounge and chatted and traded pins.
Mon, 09:43: Debbie is local but still stays on property for events and Disney visits, is DVC member.
Mon, 09:44: Broke up that session when lounge closed at 10, K and I went to room, showed each other the haul from the day, and packed.
Mon, 09:45: Up today at 7-ish, decided to remedy the chocolate waffle deficit and went back to Captains Grille. https://t.co/lW3xaawhGW

Mon, 09:46: K checked her bags at the airline check in desk and I took one load to my car on the way.
Mon, 09:47: Walked to Epcot internat'l gate after breakfast to try to renew K's annual pass but failed, back gate doesn't have the necessary printer.

Mon, 09:49: Disney crew working on beach renewal,apparently, trucks with large bags of sand waiting to be hauled to beach area. https://t.co/54RmHhH9Lo

Mon, 09:55: Now will load car, drive to D Springs to meet Alisha. Traded her the otter pin from Finding Dory set yesterday, didn't have it w me then
Mon, 09:56: Will also meet w Shannon, have lunch w her, she will take K to airport (near her house) while I get on the road to Atlanta.
Mon, 11:07: Fancy new parking garages with signs for spaces on each level, lights over each space to say if occupied. Nice.
Mon, 11:28: Parked on level 2 of Lime Garage near elevators, turns out to be best access to Disney Springs Town Center
Mon, 11:29: I walked to Pin Traders to meet Alisha and hand off the otter pin, K waited on S to arrive to move her suitcase to S's car
