Mon, 12:07: S left for airport before 6. K and I went back to sleep for an hour, leisurely got up, got birthday button from Concierge (+ K's for Thurs)
Mon, 13:08: Coffee from the little hotel shop, walked thru Downtown to main gates. Monorail station would have been better due to lines.
Mon, 13:09: Off to Carnation Cafe for breakfast reservation, w detour to play Disney trivia with a pin-trading CM on Main St.

Mon, 13:11: Now to wander--been going hard the past few days so I don't have any must-do attractions for the actual celebration day, just enjoy Disney

Mon, 16:43: Found a PhotoPass photographer at the hub who took photos showing how DL is decked out for my birthday. :)
Mon, 16:48: To Tomorrowland gift shop for K to speak to a Cast Member she'd met at company store Thurs, then to different store for pin purchases
Mon, 16:52: To Frontierland just wandering and pin trading. Met very nice couple also pin trading, got 2 Darkwing duck pins from him, we both wanted one

Mon, 16:55: Pin trader Terry also celebrating birthday today. Exchanged contact info and may try to trade again later in week.
Mon, 16:58: Very hot today w more humidity, next up was iced drinks at Pinocchio House. Then to monorail and hotel, time to get out of sun for a while.
Mon, 17:00: K to room, I went to Trader Sam's for iced tea and panko crusted long beans. Counts as a veggie, right?
Mon, 23:08: Long break in our cool hotel room, with lots of pin sorting. Then we changed into long pants as a modicum of dressing up, and off to dinner
Tue, 00:50: Birthday dinner at Steakhouse 55 in the DL Hotel: split a 14 o'clock ribeye with K, along w sides: asparagus, risotto, baked potato.

Tue, 00:55: Strolled in Downtown Disney a bit, then early night w some planning of rest of week. Back to early morning tomorrow, to beat heat.

Tue, 09:48: Out of hotel room shortly after 6, got coffee, blueberry muffin (me), choc croissant (Krissi), found a bench near monorail to wait for 7 am
Tue, 10:47: Monorail didn't start until about 7:15. We had a shady spot to sit and wait and drink coffee. No need to hike to main entrance today. :)

Tue, 10:49: Waiting on Autopia to open, Hyperspace Mtn line already at 45 min so will FastPass it after regular park opening.
