Fri, 12:08: Headed back to Pier area with last of my coffee. K and S working their way around pier doing things I probably won't--Ferris wheel, swings
Fri, 12:08: Did Little Mermaid ride, walk on.
Fri, 12:37: Met up with K and S who skipped the Fun Wheel but did do the swings. And shopped. :)
Fri, 12:42: We all rode Little Mermaid twice, back to back (that is, stayed on the ride) as there was no line and it's a favorite of S.
Fri, 12:56: Back to Flo's for K and S to eat. I'm still caffeinating.
Fri, 13:35: Going to try the line for the new-to-me Luigi's Rollicking Roadsters. Then will jump to Disneyland and try to catch the Tangled mini-show
Fri, 14:04: Roadsters were cute, but probably not a high priority to repeat. First trackless ride system I've been on.

Fri, 14:49: In line for Haunted Mansion, says its 10 min wait.

Fri, 15:38: At Royal Theater for Beauty and the Beast mini show...gets us off our tired feet, too.
Fri, 15:51: This little theater is open sided. It's now sunny and getting hot, but in the shade with some air stirring it's not too bad.
Fri, 15:54: Show tells the story, with a 'real' Belle but the narrators playing parts of Gaston and the Beast. Lots of breaking the 4th wall, w humor.
Fri, 16:00: Play referenced Little Mermaid, the game Clue, the hokey-pokey...still going. Amusingly done retelling of the story.
Fri, 16:26: Everyone needs a break. K and I are monorailing fr Tomorrowland station to Downtown Disney stop near hotel. S walking w World of Disney stop
Fri, 16:57: Back at hotel after a stop at Earl of Sandwich for iced tea and snacks. We have Blue Bayou tonight with parade viewing package.
Fri, 19:54: Off to DL via monorail for our Blue Bayou meal--this is the restaurant inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Food good, atmosphere tops.
Fri, 20:20: The Tangled mini show at the Royal Theater had just started as we walked by, paused to watch. Equally as witty as Beauty and the Beast.
Fri, 20:33: Have checked in at Blue Bayou, traded pins with CM at desk who had just refreshed his lanyard.

Fri, 22:17: K and I had a very nice meal. S's filet arrive too pink for the "well" she ordered, replacement arrived after we finished.
Fri, 22:29: Second steak also too pink. S unhappy enough that she sent her meal back, asked for & got refund, refused dessert too.
Fri, 22:32: My issue w meal was perfunctory service fr rarely there waiter. Ex: he asked us to hand him bill w payment, couldn't walk to get it himself
Fri, 23:28: Rode Pirates of the Caribbean, to see Blue Bayou from the other side. *So* much better here than WDW.
Fri, 23:29: Walked down to Town Square for parade viewing area, ran into Joachin, the pin trader S had met up with at Starbucks, and a friend.
Fri, 23:32: May see the pin trader again Sunday, when lots of traders gather in DCA. Can be pin sharks in the group, we may not do much trading.
Fri, 23:42: All American College Band playing a set before parade time. I admire the guy doubling alto sax & piccolo, piccolo goes in pocket when on sax
Sat, 00:02: Beginning to hear the bass of Paint the Night soundtrack above the Main St music. Parade still at far end of street https://t.co/rpuy9SNUOc
Sat, 00:58: Great spot for Paint the Night, but leaves you in poor position for Disneyland Forever fireworks and hard to move to a better one.
Sat, 01:03: Watched projections on the Main St blogs more than fireworks, from a spot near Emporium. Some cool effects I'd not noticed before.

Sat, 01:09: Going to watch second parade from curb about halfway up Main St. About 35 min to wait, but as we can sit, that's OK...

Sat, 03:37: Headed out after the parade, tired and wanting sleep do we can do the 7 am early hour at Disneyland tomorrow.
Sat, 03:39: Will also meet up with K's brother Eric and family, who will come around 9:30, stay through the World of Color dessert party at least.
Sat, 09:50: In line at DIsneyland waiting for the 7 am early entry for resort guests. Didn't do a cup of hotel coffee today, so am uncaffeinated as yet
Sat, 10:30: After brief photo stops with the smaller crowd, we're in line for Peter Pan, which is one of S's rides in Orlando.
Sat, 10:31: S gives the Disneyland version a 'meh', prefers WDW. I like some aspects of each, myself.
Sat, 10:34: In line for Nemo's Submarine Voyage. It's a very slow loading attraction, good to hit in this reduced crowd time.
Sat, 11:25: K and S doing Hyperspace Mountain. I need food and coffee before coasters, so have a shady bench and the coffee while they ride.

Sat, 11:26: Nice chat with a woman of about my age also treating herself to a Disney birthday trip. We shared the shady bench. :)
Sat, 11:27: Hyperspace Mtn. went down for 15 min as K and S were at head of the line. I'm enjoying my break.
