  • Tue, 14:55: Unhurried walk back to Asia, thought about stopping for Flights of Wonder, head to Nemo instead. May still manage to squeeze in FoW later.

  • Tue, 15:45: With only a little hurry, made it to 11:45 Flights of Wonder after 11 Nemo.
  • Tue, 16:10: Several new to me bird performers. Galah did 'grab a dollar from guest', different singing parrot, vulture did the fly over photographers.
  • Tue, 16:24: FP+ for Kilimanjaro Safari is in window, walked through outer part of new Harambe Marketplace on the way.
  • Tue, 16:25: *Very* steamy in Safari queue, but at least it's not raining.
  • Tue, 16:58: Looks like a storm is brewing, skipping the animal trail and grabbing lunch at Harambe.
  • Tue, 18:00: Just got my tray of food and the rain came down. Dashed to one of sheltered table area and perched tray on edge of condiment stand.
  • Tue, 19:23: Off to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Disney Bounding as Hiro (me) and Baymax (Krissi).
  • Tue, 19:53: Skies very threatening--hope it will storm once then clear for rest of party. Meanwhile, the hoodie that's part of my costume is quite warm.
  • Tue, 21:04: Had to wait on a second bus, arrived at MK just at 4 when party entry started. Big crowd scene to get through gate and party ristband
  • Tue, 21:13: Headed straight to Frontierland pin store, lines are not out the door but it's very busy. Made our buys and joined pin trader crowd on porch
  • Tue, 21:48: Dr Facilier chaser is the scarce mystery box set pin at the moment. I have all but that, K has all having traded for Facilier.
  • Tue, 21:51: Traded w Mark and Walter, Rocky and Carol, Shannon, other familiar faces fr pin event.

  • Tue, 22:41: Left the informal pin trading area and went to Starbucks for iced teas and snacks. No seating there, found table on Center St.
  • Tue, 22:52: Maybe, just maybe, the weather will clear for rest of party.
  • Wed, 03:53: Rain threat went away, and the heat wasn't that bad after the sun went down. Had a good time overall, though feet were dying.
  • Wed, 03:56: When party officially started we got our SotMK party cards at the Firehouse, headed back to Frontierland pin store.
  • Wed, 03:58: Ran across another pin event guy buying mystery boxes, and Krissi, Carol, & Rocky helped him mostly complete a set.
  • Wed, 04:00: The group stood and chatted on the store porch until parade came by, just watched from there. Not ideal as we were behind planter, but ok
  • Wed, 04:02: Waved goodbye to everyone, K and I headed to Splash Mtn area for treat trail--but layout is different, just 1 stop with long line.
  • Wed, 04:03: Headed to hub via Adventureland, found a somewhat shorter candy line at Tiki Room. Arrived at hub for end of new villains show.
  • Wed, 04:05: Watched Celebrate the Magic (show projected on castle) and Hallowishes fireworks fr spot in hub. All very crowded w sellout party.
  • Wed, 04:06: Shuffled w post-fireworks crowd to Tomorrowland, took a spin on Tomorrowland Transit Authority people mover to give feet a break.
  • Wed, 04:08: After TTA I headed out, hoping for a break in crowd for busses. Had to stand but did get on first bus back.
  • Wed, 04:10: Back at room around 11:30. Feet in rebellion, no more standing tonight. Well, maybe to start packing--we leave tomorrow.
  • Wed, 04:25: Fitbit report: 22,028, 9.48 miles.
