Thu, 12:51: Fitbit report from yesterday: 18,330, 7.77 miles.
Thu, 12:53: To finish off yesterday: I walked to the Marketplace side stopping in some shops tooling around and pin trade--not much luck.
Thu, 12:57: Took bus back to Beach Club and organized my trading pins until K got back.
Thu, 13:00: Going to register for the pin event when it opens at 10, decided to eat breakfast at Coronado Springs food court, Pepper Market.
Thu, 13:03: Line had already formed for registration as we walked through the conference center headed for food at 8:40-ish.
Thu, 13:04: Food (and coffee!) is a higher priority than waiting in line, so we walked on by.
Thu, 13:06: Chorizo, egg, and cheese sandwich. Wish they'd used a bit less cumin and more chile in the chorizo, but it's good http://t.co/yPjGkADMM9
Thu, 13:51: Back to pin registration at 9:45, fed and caffienated. Queue has moved into a holding room along 2 walls. http://t.co/nFjKWW7izT
Thu, 14:05: 9:50 they opened the actual registration room and let the line fill the real queue area. Excess folks will probably be held in other room.
Thu, 16:50: Tear-off tabs for the allowed pin board trades - 4 each for Friday and Saturday. http://t.co/UgBaSnjWV0

Thu, 19:01: Didn't note how long it took to complete registration, but about an hour. As before, you meet nice folks in line and set up some trades.
Thu, 19:05: Moved into other room, which is now available for serious traders to spread out their books and let folks browse.
Thu, 19:08: Immediate trades happen for mystery set pins and some other event pins. We started organizing pre-purchased pins, interrupted to trade.
Thu, 19:12: I am happy with 4 older Figment pins swapped for stuff is gotten at earlier events. Also traded away the Snow White pin for this event.
Thu, 20:24: Ended up ditching vague plans for Hollywood Studios, left Coronado Springs around 1:30, dropped pin collections at our hotel room.
Thu, 20:25: Drove to the Polynesian trying to get to Kona Cafe before end of lunch service, made it w 5-10 min to spare. Went with shared appetizers.
Thu, 20:27: Kona Cafe: we split pot stickers, steamed pork buns, corn fritters, sticky wings, and a side of sweet potato fries. Excellent lunch.
Thu, 22:40: Hard to keep up w tweets---not using Disney transportation much. :)
Thu, 22:41: From the Poly, headed back to Beach Club to meet up w Debbie, who we'd met in line this morning. Spread out pins in Solarium and traded.
Thu, 22:42: I got 2 more nice Figment pins in trade for a DL passport pin off last years boards, and a DL Diamond D.

Thu, 23:27: Headed to Epcot Internatl Gate to try to get my Annual Pass reprinted, exp. date is almost unreadable. That location has no printer, alas.
Thu, 23:34: Decided to do a round of the Epcot resorts pin boards, planning an early night for tomorrow's early start. Headed to Boardwalk.
Fri, 10:17: After BWalk, took boat to Yacht Club, pin traded, chatted w other guests here for pin event and with Cast Members.
Fri, 10:18: Asked at Beaches & Cream for counter seats: 1 hr wait. Went to the takeaway counter instead, I did my usual negotiation for 1 scoop sundae.
Fri, 10:20: 1 scoop hot fudge sundae. Took these into the Solarium to eat in A/C, sat there and chatted for a while. http://t.co/JQ3rmB9gIn
Fri, 10:21: Up to room around 8:30 I think and organized for early morning for pin breakfast, "Eat Ticket"--pun on E ticket.
Fri, 10:23: Fitbit report is light w no park visit, 13,063 steps, 5.43 miles.
Fri, 10:27: The buzz at registration to be in breakfast line as early as possible and get as many times at the boards before vouchers needed at 10.
Fri, 10:30: K walked out of room just before 5:30 to get in line. I was 40 min behind her. Maybe 10 people ahead of us. Breakfast event starts at 8.
Fri, 10:32: We're waiting outside first gate to international gate, at base of bridge fr BWalk. At some point they'll let us into entry plaza area.

Fri, 10:35: Watched Cast Member washing concrete, service vehicles running around w pre-opening tasks. Chatting w folks in line about 'Grail pins'
Fri, 10:39: Sky starting to lighten for dawn...
Fri, 10:53: K had brilliant idea to fill our resort mugs w coffee last night, put in fridge. Add ice this morning and we have some caffeine for the wait

Fri, 11:28: Line now all the way across bridge. Physical gate opened at 7:15, but we're still being held just outside it. http://t.co/nz5KDAJpD2
Fri, 11:57: Moved us in to entry plaza, then quickly to security tables where all bags and pin binders had to be out and unzipped.
Fri, 12:00: Short pause at security, then guards started rapid-fire bag inspection. The bomb-sniffer dog last year much faster, didn't disrupt bags.
