Fri, 22:33: Aaa and I'm in Disneyland! Well, the DL hotel, about to go upgrade my WDW annual pass to a bi-coastal one.
Fri, 22:35: Hotel upgraded my std view room to a Fantasia Tower pool view, which I don't care about. Can see the tiki torches at Trader Sam's though.
Fri, 22:36: Have a meeting in San Diego next Wed-Thurs, so flew in early, rented a car, drove to Anaheim. Must seize the chance at West Coast Disney.
Fri, 23:09: Disney systems not well integrated--DL must call WDW to find value of my AP, then will credit that to my Premier AP.
Sat, 00:04: Trying to determine value of AP by trial and error, novice keeps coming to ask: FL resident? DVC? Renewal? Finally got it.

Sat, 00:25: Premier Pass should have been discounted by what I paid for WDW one, plus tax, and expire when it did (Dec). Not sure they did math right.
Sat, 00:26: Ticket office team lead changed renewal date to today--I get a full year try to get back to DL. :)
Sat, 00:59: In line for small world, so much nicer than MK version w cool facade, outdoors loading area. Not possible in FL.

Sat, 01:27: Stepped across to Fantasyland theatre for Mickeys Magical Map, new since my only other DL trip. Doesn't get great reviews...
Sat, 02:42: Haunted Mansion, with Hatbox Ghost. About a 20 min wait that got steamy due to no air circ in queue.
Sat, 02:48: In line for Pirates--trying to last until first Paint the Night parade at 9 before I crash.
Sat, 03:40: Shared the front row of a boat with a Pirates virgin--she and family were trying for Haunted Mansion, got in line for PoC accidentally.
Sat, 03:42: Big issue for me in DL--I don't know where all the restrooms are. :)
Sat, 03:47: Finally found a perch for Paint the Night in front of Great Moments w Mr Lincoln, at front of park.
Sat, 03:48: Main Street spots are claimed an hour+ for first parade, esp summer weekend. I'm about 5 rows back. I hear the floats are tall...
Sat, 05:21: Even behind 6 rows of people, kids on shoulders, a large balloon, and many cell phones taking video, Paint The Night is great.
Sat, 05:22: Left after the parade rather than fight crowd back a ways up Main St to be able to seek fireworks over the castle.

Sat, 05:24: Quick detour through World of Disney, though I didn't purchase anything. I see at least a few things on Krissi & Doris's shopping list.
Sat, 05:27: Didn't plan well--DL is early entry park tomorrow (7 am), but I have a lunch reservation @ Carthay Circle for World of Color FastPass.
