• Wed, 17:28: Start of a week at Walt Disney World, centered on Pin Trading event Fri and Sat.
• Wed, 17:29: Got to Orlando, went thru rental car hassle, waited for Krissi to arrive. Changed car when 1st one had bad tire.
• Wed, 17:31: Off to Beach Club. Greeted as usual by name based on RFID MagicBands.
• Wed, 17:33: We've been upgraded to Club Level. Sweet!! Check in on 5th with special concierge, I had strawberry champagne during check-in process.
• Wed, 17:48: Checking out the snack selection in lounge--not bad. Cookies, pretzels, candy of course but pappadum, red pepper pesto, breads, house chips.
• Wed, 17:50: Free soft drinks and alcohol. Will be hot stuff later, dessert at night, continental bfast.
• Wed, 17:54: Floor is being renovated, lounge temporarily in Presidential Suite w great view of lake and Boardwalk resort.
• Wed, 17:55: Renovations perhaps explain why we, at discounted (PIN code) standard room rate, got upgraded.
• Wed, 17:59: Second car from rental place has tag that starts PIN. Has to be our car for the pin weekend, right?
• Wed, 18:08: Off to catch bus to Magic Kingdom. Have to stop at entrance for Krissi to pick her new Annual Pass.

• Wed, 21:09: Got into MK before the parade got to the head of Main Street, with time to look at pin lanyards on the way.
• Wed, 21:11: Watched Festival of Fantasy from halfway up Main Street. They were booking it--no pauses for dance, etc, with possible storm blowing up.
• Wed, 21:11: Parade seemed about twice as fast as when I saw it in August. :)
• Wed, 21:13: Change in Sorcerers of the MK process: have to 'open a portal' at least once between getting sets of cards.
• Wed, 21:14: After parade, walked to Fantasyland and used FP for mine train. I still really like that coaster. Safety bar was cramped for Krissi.
• Wed, 21:15: Paused in store with A/C and made a dinner reservation at the Plaza for 5 pm, then headed to Circus tent for pin trading.
• Wed, 21:44: Rode train to Main Street, stopped to look at Guest Relations pin book which is usually dismal. It was loaded! Could only get 2 a piece...
• Wed, 21:47: Got SotMK cards, pin traded up the street to the Plaza for dinner.
• Wed, 21:49: Beef brisket burger at the Plaza. Still a basic Disney burger under there, and cooked dry. Still not bad as a combo http://t.co/9T6SqcDc1d
• Wed, 21:51: Downpour came as we finished dinner--watched the street party floats fly back to shelter having gotten caught in it.

• Wed, 21:52: Plan to work our way out and take monorail to Epcot, walk through park (doing stuff) to Beach Club.
• Wed, 22:44: Stopped at Guest Relations again for an (illicit) second go at pin book. It was a different book, we both think.
• Wed, 22:49: Cast member asked what we were looking for. Mentioned the cast lanyard 7 dwarf pins, she found us 4 in the back.
• Wed, 23:03: At Epcot, stopped at stroller rental to trade pins at Duffy stroller and tell Duffy hi from Doris.
• Wed, 23:39: Meandering thru Epcot: Guest Relations, Pin station, Mouse Gear. Headed to Norway to ride Maelstrom, possibly to be replaced by Frozen ride.
• Thu, 00:31: Maelstrom is just as odd a collection of scenes as ever.
• Thu, 00:35: Walked the rest of the way around Epcot lagoon to Internatl Gateway, pin trading some. Pin book in Africa is now a small board.
• Thu, 00:37: Boat was waiting outside Epcot and feet are tired, so we're going home by water via Boardwalk.
• Thu, 01:28: Little dessert bites in club lounge: a cheesecake, chocolate dome cake, cupcake. Add iced coffee with a shot of Kahlua: nice wind down.
