Re: tipping. I'm not good on this stuff, and googled to get guidelines for the movers. (Not required, but apparently common. I had decided to tip each crew member $20 which worked out to about the guideline of 5%, which then got confused when different people worked the delivery. I ended up with $10 per session, so the crew chief got $20 because he worked loading and delivery. That came out to $50 total.

On your fence, I could go either way. If they just did the job the way you expected, I probably wouldn't say to tip. Add in the heat, or maybe coping with any special problems, and I might tip a little. On the other hand, for the heat, just offering cold drinks could be enough. :)
