Cross-species labelling
Jan. 21st, 2008 10:37 pmI made the trip to south Georgia and back yesterday to bring my father to Atlanta for a eye appointment. On the way north, we stopped at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Perry, Ga. Needing to use the facilities, I headed into the little hallway area, looked left and saw the door labeled 'Bulls', turned the other way and saw a door labeled....'Lambs'.
OK, someone complained that 'Cows' was unflattering, and probably the same for 'Heifers'. But surely someone could have pointed out that 'Lambs' are a different species, are juveniles only, and come in both sexes?
I wonder if all Longhorns use this scheme...must look next time I'm in the local one.
