(no subject)
Sep. 23rd, 2007 05:45 pmI've been in the office all 3 days of my weekend (though not for long today), but at least the office is completely packed. I'll take my 11-1 conference call tomorrow in there, then leave for home (or somewhere) so the desktop computer and phone can be disconnected and the paint-and-carpet people can move things out when they wish.
( before and after photos behind the cut... )
Now, big decision: do I have them put the office back as it was, or re-arrange? My supervisor said I could probably replace the computer table and the WW-II vintage desk (steel, incredibly sturdy, but the drawers don't work well and the surface is ruined and is covered with a formica-covered plywood top--you thought government employees had upscale furniture or something?) when the new fiscal year starts Oct. 1. I'm going to draw some possible arrangements with likely dimensions of new furniture, and see what the possibilities are.
