Behind again...
Mar. 8th, 2005 09:41 pmLife once again is overwhelming me, and LJ is what falls out. Oh, well...
The current week is being spent recuperating from a cold caught last week, and trying to get ready for the neighborhood yard sale Saturday. My sister-in-law and I are organizing the sale, plus we're both going to be selling stuff at my house--my garage is getting full, and we've got a third person who'll be bringing her stuff in, too.
Anyway, there are 22 houses in the neighborhood having sales, and we're running a bake sale to benefit the neighborhood association. That "we" is again me and my sister-in-law, as no one ever volunteers to host it, though they will contribute baked goods. (Atlanta folks: Saturday, 8-3, Diamond Head neighborhood off Pangborn Road in north DeKalb. Y'all come!) Just found out the directional signs we carefully saved after doing this the last time (2 years ago) seem to have been lost by the former association president, so I may have to make more tomorrow, get them laminated, and get them out on busy street corners. But I have to work tomorrow, and already plan to take time off to go to a funeral for a co-worker in the afternoon. Aaargh!
Up after the yard sale is done and cleaned up after: Taxes. More work on kitchen renovation plans. At least the yard sale should clear out some of the stuff from the utility room that would be in the way of the renovation...
