Re inventory- all you need to do is create a general reckoning of what you threw out-ie ground beef - 5- 1 lb packs- $
lasagna- or whatever home made stuff you had- use price it would cost if you purchased at the local store I've dealt with insurers - it probably won't add up to more than $100-200, but you did pay for the extended warrantry. Also, you should request that the freezer be replaced with a new one.
