I will do the hand-feeding, within the limits of the time available between work (neglected for the last month anyway) and visiting my father in the hospital. I tried squirting a little baby food in her mouth with a syringe once before deciding that was just making her miserable, and wasn't likely to get enough into her to help much in any case. I've decided to respect her decisions on how much and what to eat.
That doesn't mean I'm not looking for items to tempt her with--she just rejected sardines, but ate three little "Good Life" cat treats. Silly old girl.
