Scana actually is my gas marketer, but I'd never thought about them for the service checks. Do they do the routine maintenance, filter changes, etc. stuff?

And many thanks for the offer of the spare room--I do have my brother and sister-in-law next door, but a safe place for the cats over there would be difficult to arrange. Maybe in the basement...
