Monday at Disney--the notes

Started at Animal Kingdom with Extra Magic Hours, where resort guests get an hour's head start over others. Headed to the safari ride first to have a) very short line and b) animals active in the early (realtively) morning. The male lion was posing regally on a hill top for us.
Breakfast at Pizzafari
Finding Nemo the musical, with marvelous puppets
I did the train to Conservation Station on my own, while Krissi met Lauri at Expedition Everest (a roller coaster)
Joined up for the Maharaja trail, an animal veiwing area in 'Asia'. The tigers were feeling lively....
Off to Epcot for a mid-afternoon 'lunch' at the Biergarten. Very good German food, nice oompah band with lots of Christmas touches
Walked over and stood outside the ampitheater for the candelight processional/massed choir Christmas concert and listened, decided this was not worth coming back to and standing in line for a later show.
Water taxi across the lagoon to the other section of Epcot and did Soarin', the flight simulator/hang glider/something ride
The three of us (me, Krissi, Lauri) appropriated a table in The Land and laid out tentative plans for our joint days the rest of the week, with lists of preferred eating locations. Will see the concierge shortly to find out if any of these are feasible.
Out to the lagoon and grabbed viewing spots for IllumiNations about 90 degrees around the lagoon from the Saturday night spot.
